The Story of The Starlight Kingdom

This is the story of the Starlight Kingdom. It is an original concept I have created that has inspired a lot of my art.

In the far future, there is an interplanetary society called the Starlight Kingdom. It used to be inhabited by aliens not so different from humans. However, over time some of them evolved and lost the ability to see others' points of view, as well as losing one eye in the evolution process. This created a divide between Biclops and Cyclops. Cyclops ended up ruling the Starlight Kingdom, which caused corruption in society as Cyclops did not understand the feelings of the people they were in charge of.

There are also robotic citizens, which are classified into two categories: Droids and Lones. Droids are robots that were built in the Starlight Kingdom for a purpose. Lones are robots that were reassembled from faraway planets where civilization has died out. Lones are often looked down upon as their exact function, as well as their past, is not always known.

One day, a Biclops girl named Audrey Mercury was born. Something was very different about her. Audrey was not a Biclops or a Cyclops. She had three eyes and two blue horns on her head. Growing up, Audrey was taught to conceal her third eye and horns, so she wore a hat with flowers on it. When Audrey was 19, she got a job for the Cyclops Queen and went on an intergalactic mission to draw pictures of faraway planets.

But Audrey was not the only one who wanted this job. A Lone named Z0-3Y, or "Zoey", had also applied, but was denied due to the fact that she was a Lone. Zoey decided that wasn't going to stop her, so she fixed up a broken ship and headed out to draw planets on her own.

Meanwhile, a defective Droid named PI-110, or "Pillow", was on the run. She needed more time to recharge than the average Droid, so the Cyclops were planning to permanently deactivate her. She snuck into Zoey's ship before it blasted off. When Zoey found Pillow in her ship, at first she was confused and didn't know if she could trust this Droid. But they eventually became friends and explored the universe together.

I hope you enjoyed my story. Many of my drawings take place in this shared universe. "Droids of the Stars" features multiple Zoeys in a pop art style. "Anxiety" features Audrey surrounded by eyes. I hope to further develop these characters in my artwork, as they mean a lot to me.
